Producer, Writer, Lyricist, Composer, Director for stage and film, his work includes Book for such musicals as “The Passing Show” (1894), “The Hall of Fame” (1902), “The Rollicking Girl” (1905), and Jumping Jupiter” (1911). Some of the plays he wrote were “At the White Horse Inn” (1899), “A Modern Crusoe” (1903), “The Optimist” (1906), and “Virginia Runs Away” (1923). He was the producer, writer and lyricist for “The King’s Carnival” (1901) and “The Supper Club” (1901), among others. He wrote and directed “Children of Destiny” (1910) and others/ In the silent film era, he produced “The Purple Lady” (1916) and wrote for “The Senator” (1915) and :Children of Destiny” (1920).
