COLE, JIMMIE E., age 66, of Hoover, passed away at home on Thursday, October 16, 2008. Jimmie Cole had a 40 year Membership Certification with United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of Plumbers and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada. Being an owner and operator truck driver for 18 years and has many friends all over the United States. Leased to Jones Motors in PA. Has many friends associated with the Goldwing motorcycle club. Also, he proudly served our country for 6 years in the Army. He was preceded in death by his father, Leslie Cole and his brother, Jackie Cole. Survivors include his loving wife of 23 years, Sue Cole; his mother, Frances Cole; his son, Kirk Evans Cole; and his brother, Leslie Cole, Jr. The family will receive friends at Ridout's Southern Heritage on Saturday October 18, 2008 at 12 Noon followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 1 P.M. with Rev. Stanley Owensby officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Jemison, AL.
