MAX "BUDDY" EDWARDS
1925-2012

MCKENZIE: Max Milton "Buddy" Edwards, 86, of McKenzie, died Saturday, June 30, 2012 at McKenzie Regional Hospital. Funeral services were Monday, July 2 at 10:00 a.m. at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Rev. Eric S. Corbin officiating. Burial followed at Shiloh Cemetery.
Mr. Edwards was born November 18, 1925 in McKenzie to the late Benjamin Howard and Maxine Roulston Edwards. He was a brick mason, a teacher of Masonry at TN Technology Center and a Codes officer for the City of McKenzie. He was a member of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the American Legion. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Patty Edwards, and a brother, Rip Edwards.
He is survived by: his wife of 44 years, Bette S. Edwards, of McKenzie; two daughters, MaryAnn (Steve) Baker, of McKenzie, and Kathy (Jeff) Meyers, of Nashville; a son, Bub (Dian) Edwards, of Paris; two step-daughters, Carie Neal (Dan) Bradfield, of McKenzie, and Lora Lee (Rick) Goforth, of Covington; a step-son, Mark (Sherry) Mitchum, of San Antonio, TX; fourteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
