Born in Hilo, Hawaii, on March 28, 1936.
He was a retired Sr. Architectural Designer of the Palo Verde Nuclear Power Plant beginning with preliminary drawings in 1965.
His joy was his "Magnificent 7" grandchildren, Morgan & Bailey Spears, Tristan, Tommy, & Maile Moosman, and Emi & Halle Fasoldt.
He loved cooking his favorite Hawaiian foods and even taught his family to cook their Thanksgiving meal in the imu (ground). Fishing, gardening and working with wood were just a few of his favorite fun activities.
He is best known for his many years of faithful service in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and his great love for Jesus Christ and his fellowmen.
He will be laid to rest at the Veteran's Cemetary in Hilo, Hawaii.
He will be greatly missed by his wife, Helene of 48 years and their children, Toni (Michael Spears), Mark, & Noe (Geoff Fasoldt).
