Obituary for Larry M. Durham
Larry M. Durham, age 64, of 221 Hopewell Church Road, died Thursday, December 5, 2013 at his home.
He was born in Oconee County and was a son of the late Edward Grady "Slim" Durham and Grace Olive Lowery Durham.
Mr. Durham retired from Whitten Center and his own company. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Joanna and attended Rock Bridge Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his daughters Stacy Whitsel and Todd Edwards of Cowpens and Amanda Abrams Villanueva and Jeremy of Laurens; his brother Jack Edward Durham and wife Sharon of Mount Pleasant; his sister Patsy Deitz and her husband Wayne of Kinards; his grandchildren Morgan Jade Whitsel United States Navy STGSA, Trey Whitsel, and Cy Abrams; his former wife Joanne Allen Durham; and a special friend Faye Bell
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, December 8th at 3:00 p.m. at Pinelawn Memory Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
