Rodney was born March 1, 1942, at Pennsboro, the son of the late Raymond and Janis B. Harden Moore. He was employed by the former Mid-Atlantic Glass of Ellenboro, W.Va., for 11.5 years and later retired from the CSX Railroad after 17.5 years of service as a welder's helper. He was a member of the Maintenance of Way Union and attended Hursher's Run United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sharon L. Crouser Moore; sons, Rodney J. Moore (Tammy), Randall D. Moore (Laura), Ross A. Moore (Christina), all of Harrisville; and grandchildren, Jason, Morgann, Shaylyn, Hailee, Abagail and Cayden.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Sunday from McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home, Pennsboro, with the Rev. Randy Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in the Ellenboro Masonic Cemetery, Ellenboro. Friends may call from 4:30-8 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
