Services for Mrs. Mary Jane Lange Vollmar, age 47 of Kerrville, were held July 25 at the Kerrville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Worth Thompson officiating. Burial followed at Garden of Memories Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Glen Garner, Bobby Garner, Patrick Hodges, Matt Mosty, Troy Ahrens, and Gordon Slade. Honorary pallbearers were Bill Maurer, Jim Price, Larry Noble, Ben Pieper, Jeff Blakeley and Robert Pieper. She passed away July 23 at her home.
She was born Nov. 5, 1942 in Van Zandt County, Edgewood, Texas. She came to Kerrville as a child and attended Tivy schools. She was a waitress for many years at Mama Joyce's Hill Country Cafe and most recently at Del Norte Restaurant. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include; husband, Lindon; daughters, Waynette Shannon and Vanessa Vollmar, both of Kerrville and Teresa Kern of San Antonio and Melissa Hodges of Fort Polk, Louisiana; sons, Wilson J. Chandler and Landon Vollmar, both of Kerrville; brother, Alfred Garner of Mountain Home; seven grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Heart of the Hills Hospice, Kerrville, Texas.
