Stephanie Lyn Day, 39, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2013, in Houston, TX. Visitation will be held from 9:00 until 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 7th followed by funeral services at 10:30 a.m. at Broadmoor Baptist Church. Officiating will be Dr. Tom Harrison, Dr. Chuck Pourchiau and Rev. Frank Gunn. Interment will follow at Centuries Memorial Park.
Stephanie was a native and lifelong resident of Shreveport. She was a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church and grew up at Summer Grove Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Southwood High School and East Texas Baptist University. She taught in public and private schools in Shreveport for eighteen years.
Stephanie is survived by her husband, Reverend Matt Day; her parents, Mike and Patty Kincaid; two daughters, Madelyn Grace and Molly Caroline; and one brother, David Kincaid.
Pallbearers will be Newt Dorsett, Dr. Mack Lattier, Earnie Legg, Dr. Scott Patton, Rodney Tabor and Reverend Peter Tidovsky.
