He was born April 1, 1950 in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to James William Alldridge and Elva Joy Elser. He was raised in Midvale, Utah and graduated from Hillcrest high School in Midvale, Utah.
Jim served in the Army National Guard. He married Sheri Moore December 5, 1968 in Salt Lake City, Utah; they were later divorced. On January 1, 1980, he married Nina Roberts in Menan, Idaho; they later divorced. On February 17, 1995, he married Linda Butler in Annis, Idaho; they later divorced.
Jim worked for LP Propane. He enjoyed hunting for white tail deer, fishing, camping, and spending time with his children and grandchildren, he was an avid John Wayne collector and he enjoyed feeding the fish in his fish pond.
He is survived by his daughters, Amy J. (Clint) Chournos, of Layton, UT, and Meghan Alldridge, of Pell City, AL; sons, Jason James (Michelle) Alldridge, of Pell City, AL, Rowdy James Alldridge, of Ririe, and Tory Duke (Ashley) Alldridge, of Idaho Falls; sisters, Randy (Merrill) Ross, of West Jordan, UT, Billee (Wendell) Hatch, of Emery, UT, Jody (Eric) Bowden, of Fredrick, MD, Jamie (Gonzo) San Miguel, of Riverton, Melody (Tom) Goff, of Midvale, UT, and Shaunee (Randy Lewis) Buck, of Sandy, UT; brother, Cody (Holly) Alldridge, of Diana, TX; nine grandchildren, and one on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one granddaughter, and two grandsons.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 9, 2013, at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m., prior to services at the funeral home.
