Brandon Dale Kennedy, of Windsor, Missouri, formerly of East Tawas, Michigan, passed away unexpectdly on Thursday, November 21, 2013, age 24 years. Brandon was born in Tawas City on January 20, 1989. He graduated from Tawas Area High School, class of 2007. Brandon had a warm heart and would offer his help to anyone who was in need. He loved working with his Papa, bowling, football, hockey, playing pool, fishing and hunting, and just being outdoors. Brandon will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his parents, Terry and Angie Birkenbach of East Tawas; brothers and sisters, Nathan Leidecker, Ian Robertson, Terry and Jenney Birkenbach, Douglas Birkenbach, Kristy and Gary Rose, and Sue Ann Robertson; grandparents, Dale "Papa" and Barb Kennedy, Susan Langdon, and Annie Hughes; nieces and nephews, Jordyn, McKenzy, and Warner Leidecker, Hailee, Mikaila, and Seth Rose, Anthony, Austen, and Emily Birkenbach, and Ethan Birkenbach; and many special friends. Brandon is preceded in death by his grandpa Langdon, Smurff (Larry Tiernan), Sherry LaLond, and David Robertson. Cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of his life on Saturday, December 14, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Masonic Temple on M-55 in Tawas City.
