Lucille was preceded in death by her loving husband, whom she has been married to for 65 years, but only together on this earth for 6 years, Lloyd Franklin Jenkins Sr.; her parents; brother, Lewis J. Brown and two sisters.
Lucille is survived by four children, Lloyd
'Skip' (Toni) Jenkins, Scott Jenkins, Nancy (Tim) Sullivan, and Michael Jenkins; step-daughter, Charlene Barth; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grand children; special friend, Hazel Raymond.
Lucille was a 1943 graduate of Jackson High School. Lucille drove school bus for 15 years for Trinity Lutheran, she and her husband owned and operated the Ritzee Hamburger in downtown Jackson.
Lucille was a semi-pro softball player for the Michigan Major League Team sponsored by the Regent Cafe for 9 years. She was very involved in Spring Arbor PTA, Cub Scouts, and Little League Baseball, including coaching. Mom loved to crochet, and to bird watch. She was loved by many and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of her life was held Saturday, November 30, at the Watson Funeral Chapel; Michael D. Mason officiating.
