SMITHSON BABY DIED HERE TODAY; ILL A SHORT TIME.

Kenneth Leo Smithson, the 4 1/2 month old son of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Smithson, died today noon at their home, 807 West Grimes street, after a short illness.

The funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon, the hour not being definitely arranged.

Besides the parents he is survived by a sister and brother, Ila May and Willis Alvin. He was born in this city June 18, 1927.

Smithson Baby Funeral Tomorrow Afternoon at 2

The last rites for Kenneth Leo Smithson, little son of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Smithson, who passed away yesterday, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 oclock from the home, 807 West Grimes street.

Dr. Gilbert Voorhies will conduct the services and burial will take place in Evergreen cemetery.

> Kenneth was originally buried in 3rd.088, west half, in the plot of his maternal grandparents DeKalb (see plot view photo). He was reburied on October 21, 1954 in the plot 3rd.069, where his father had been buried in 1944.

Buried: William and Mayme Smithson, their son Kenneth Leo Smithson (d. 1927, buried in unmarked grave), and son-in-law Lt. George J. Kruse, Jr. (died April 13,1945 at Tokyo, Japan, buried Nov. 17, 1949).
