Services for Mrs. Merlene Perry, 35, of Houston, Tex., were held Friday at 11 a.m. in Bethany Pentecostal Holiness Church. Rev. Johnny Mosley, Rev John Edwards, and Rev. Roger Leggett officiated with interment in Mt. Pisguah Cemetery.
Mrs. Perry died Tuesday in Houston.
Survivors include her husband, John L. Perry, Houston; three daughters, Misses Velma Ann, Phyllis, and Brenda Perry, all of Houston; her father, Luther Lewis, Stonewall; her mother, Mrs. Addie B. Holifield, Prichard, Ala.; two brother, James L. and Randy Lewis; four sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Croomes, Mobile, Ala., Mrs. Pearline Slay and Mrs. Jestine Precott, both of Houston, and Mrs. Geraline Holifield, Mobile, Ala.
Wright Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
