LEON H. LUFKIN
YARMOUTH - LEON H. Lufkin, 68, of 27 Baker St., died yesterday in a Portland hospital after a brief illness. He was born April 28, 1895, in Stonington, son of Seth and Gertrude Clark Lufkin, and was educated in Stonington schools. Mr. Lufkin came to Yarmouth in 1927 and had resided here since. He was employed for 25 years at teh Bath Iron Works and had retired last Dec. 31. He was an Army veteran of World War I and a member of Stewart P. Morrill Post, AL, of South Portland and World I Barracks 469 of Portland. Mr. Lufkin also was a member of Reliance Lodge, AF & AM, of Yarmouth. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Edith Lufkin of Yarmouth; a step son, Lester Wile of Yamrouth; two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Weston of Freeport and Mrs. Lucy Welch of Yarmouth, and three grandchildren. The Rev. Vincent Silliman will officiate at funeral services at 3:30 p.m. tomorrow at 37 Portland St. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.

LUFKIN - In Portland, Feb. 7, Leon H. Lufkin of 27 Baker St., Yarmouth. Funeral services at the Lindquist Funeral Home, 37 Portland St., Yarmouth, Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Interment in Riverside Cemetery in the spring. If desired, in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Fund. Visiting hours at the funeral home Saturday afternoon 2-4 and evening 7-9.
