1940 - 2013

Rupert A. Collins, Jr. a native of Prichard, AL and long time resident of Pensacola, FL expired Sunday December 1, 2013. He proudly served his Country in the United States Air Force followed by the U. S. Postal service and subsequently with the Pensacola Naval Air Station where he retired as an Aircraft Mechanic. He is preceded in death by his wife Euamporn "Nit" Collins, his parents Bertha & Rupert A. Collins, Sr., and siblings Alvin & Marvin Collins and Bernadette Lewis. He is survived by his sisters Philomena Suarez and Ramona Collins his brother Aubrey Collins, Sr. as well as a host of family & friends including devoted friends Dot Lee and Ronald Preer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday 11 am at St. Ann Catholic Church with Father James Thoyalil, Celebrant. The Rosary will be recited at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the family plot at Catholic Cemetery Mobile, AL Saturday 10:00 am with BENBOE FUNERAL HOME directing. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the American Cancer Society .
