Willie Dean Boatman, 65, of Caraway, Arkansas, passed away Dec. 3, 2013, at St. Bernards Medical Center.

He was born July 18, 1948, in Bald Knob, Arkansas, to the late Willie and Mary Layton Boatman.

Willie was a member of Rowe's Chapel Baptist Church and was a retired HVAC repairman. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Carol Tipton; and brother, Larry Boatman.

Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Brown Boatman; three sons, William Boatman and wife Donna of Caraway, Bobby Boatman of Caraway and Steve Boatman and wife Stacy of Jonesboro; brothers, James Berry and wife Lucille of Washington state, Eugene Berry and wife Willie of Union Hill, Asa Boatman and wife Anita of Caraway, Joe Boatman and wife Clara of Bradford and Kenny Boatman and wife Kathy of McCrory; sisters, Geneva Stallings and husband James of Jonesboro, Juanita Smith and husband Lee of Avenal, Calif., Brenda Polston and husband Virgil of Caraway, Lois Northcutt and husband John of Caraway and Susan Boone and husband Glenn of Caraway; 10 grand-children; and four great-grand-children.

Funeral services were held in the chapel of Gregg Funeral Home in Monette. Interment was in Pine log Cemetery.
