Leonard Cupp, a former Maryville boy who at one time belonged to the Maryville College Baseball team and afterwards played with Moffett's Knoxville team, fell off the Gay Street Bridge last Saturday night. His skull was fractured and he died from his injuries Sunday morning. He was employed by the Southern Railroad as a yard conductor.
His father resides here also, along with two sisters. His mother has been dead for several years. He had been married only a few months. A wife, Nellie Ford Cupp, father, brothers and sisters are left to mourn his death, also numerous other relatives.
