Ada Marie Pettyjohn, 74, of Decatur died 2:50 p.m. Monday (Aug. 19, 1996) in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Burial will be in Mount Gilead Cemetery.
Mrs. Pettyjohn was born in Gays on Nov. 15, 1921, the daughter of John and Myrtle Scott Foster. She was a member of the Body of Christ Church of Buffalo. She married Ira Pettyjohn. He preceded her in death on Sept. 10, 1991.
She is survived by her children, Charles, Barbara, Larry, Nancy and husband Joel, David and Dale, all of Decatur; Diane and friend of Peoria; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Leaving behind special friends, Irene, Mike and Dave, Bob and Bob.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Edward, parents, one brother and one sister.
She will be missed very much by all her friends, children and grandchildren. Grandma, this is Lori, I will miss you very much. You were the best grandmother ever.
