STRICKLAND (sic), ROBERT B., age 67, husband of Mrs. Sadie Strickland, died at his home at 3116 Linden Ave., at 8:20 a.m. Wednesday. Member of the Presbyterian Church. Other survivors; two daughters, Misses Pauline and Margaret Strickland, both of Knoxville; two sisters, Mrs. Leonard L. Smith, Louisville, Kentucky; Mrs. Dewey Durrance, Waycross, Georgia; two brothers, Ernest Strickland; Nels Strickland, Savannah, Georgia. The body will remain at Roberts Mortuary. Funeral services 10 a.m. Friday at Roberts Mortuary, Rev., Charles S. Bond officiating. Interment in Lynnhurst Cemetery. The following will serve as pallbearers: Omar Smith, George Shular, Guy Finley, Frank Edwards, W. T. Weaver, Clayton Lay. Roberts in charge. (Knoxville Journal, May 22, 1947, p.22)
