Wilma L. West, 94, died Sunday, Dec. 1, at Lakewood Assisted Living in Springfield. She was born June 2, 1919, in Springfield, to Benjamin and Nannie Scott. She married Lloyd R. West in 1940.
Survivors are David West; Diana Perryman; and Nancy Taylor; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister Reba Van Allen, Mo. and many special nieces and nephews. She graduated from Fair Grove High School in 1937 and remained close with her surviving classmates, especially Pauline Highfill and Theresa Stafford. She was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church and had been a long-time member of Glenstone Baptist Church.
