Rev. Curtis J Butler of was born November 25, 1951 to the late Sammie D and Johnnie O'Neal Butler. He departed this life for his heavenly home November 29, 2013.

He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined the Bethel Baptist Church. He later joined the Mt. Olive Galilee Missionary Baptist Church where he was a faithful servant until the Lord called him home.

Rev. Curtis was preceded in death by his parents and sister Johnnie Butler Floyd.

He leaves cherished memories to sons Curtis Jerome and Gerald Anthony Butler and daughters Kierra and Natasha Butler all of Evansville, IN. Sisters; Dorothy J Thomas Vanleer, Elizabeth (Thomas) Winstead, Lorraine and Brenda Sue Butler, all of Evansville, IN. brothers; Sammie of Chicago, IL, Michael, David, Larry, Kennedy and Ernest Terry all of Evansville IN and 4 grand children and several other family members and friends, as well as a very special friend Ms. Joann Conner.

Visitation will be Friday, December 6, 2013 9:00 - 11:00am at Mt. Olive Galilee Missionary Baptist Church home going celebration at 11:00 a.m.

Osborne Funeral Home have been entrusted with final arrangements.
