PASSING OF LEE CORBIN.
Lee Corbin, son of Marion and Mary Corbin, was born in Knox county, this state, on May 31, 1887, and departed this life at his home, near Newark, Missouri on March 16, 1929, at the age of 41 years, 9 months and 16 days.
His sickness was of short duration. All that loving hands and medical aid could do was done, but God saw fit to call him home.
He was united in marriage to Ida Velora Boone on December 27, 1905. All his life was spent on a farm near Newark.
He is survived by his wife, mother, four brothers and one sister, viz.: Frank, of LaBelle; Roy, of Knox City; Orris, of Newark; George, of Berthoud, Colorado, and Mrs. Ethel Plunkett, of Peoria, Illinois. His fathesr [sic], one sister and three brothers preceded him in death.
He will be greatly missed by a host of relative and friends.
Funeral service were held at the residence, conducted by the Rev. W. E. Akers, pastor of LaBelle Central Methodist church.
