There are a select few who will touch your life and change you forever. Not all angels live in heaven, some walk beside us in life unknown, disguised as common people. Some of us are luckier than others, I am one of the luckiest ones. I have had a true angel that I call my grandmother and friend. You've taught me the true meaning of love, kindness, understanding, compassion, and forgiveness. I hope I can be the kind of woman, mother, friend, and caregiver that you have been to so many. You have put everyone else first and sacrificed so much for us all. I know your body is tired and it hurts to see you in so much pain and yet you continue to be kind and humble going through all of this. It just shows the world what a beautiful heart you have. I can never thank you enough for all the sacrifices you've made for me and the lessons that I have learned. You've always stood beside me. It breaks my heart to think about this earth without you in it. It's unfair for us to ask for you to stay and a part of me wants to be selfish, but I can't, I love you too much! You will forever be a part of my life and you will always live forever in my heart. I am so thankful that God graced us with you for as long as he has. I pray God wraps his arms around you and takes you gently so your pain is over and you can finally go home where you belong. I know we shed this earthly body, but I will recognize you. I will look for the most beautiful angel with the largest wings, and biggest crown that is surrounded by all the little children. They will be the lucky ones! Written by Christie Wilson.
