Sardis: Bonnie Evelyn Boleyn Wolfe, age 86, died Friday evening April 17, 2015 At Lexington Manor in Lexington, TN.
Mrs. Wolfe was born and reared at Bethel Springs, the daughter of the late James Hershel and Mary Oleta Sisk Boleyn married James Carnell Wolfe in 1954 and they made their home at Sardis most of their married life. She had worked at Decaturville Sportswear, Salant & Salant at Lexington, and Swan Hose at Lexington where she was an inspector. She loved quilting, gardening, and being outdoors. She was a member of the Savannah Church of the Nazarene.
Mrs. Wolfe is survived by two sons; James Wolfe (Starla) of Lexington, and Forrest Wolfe (Donna) of Adamsville, three daughters; Marlene Mooney (Jerry) of Sardis, Kathy Humphres (Dale) of Dickson, and Vickie Johnson (Jerry) of Lexington, a brother Jimmy Neal Boleyn of Sardis, four sisters; Ethel Gore of Lexington, Elsie Mae Catlett of Jacksonville, TX, Jannie Williams of Selmer, and Paulette McNeal of Selmer, 13 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter Arlene Wolfe in 1957, a sister Lois Wolfe, and three brothers Orphus Boleyn, Jerry Allen Boleyn, and Everett Ray Boleyn and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Rev. Justin Warren officiating. Burial will follow at Lebanon Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Shackelford – Casey Chapel beginning at 5:00 PM Sunday.
