DAVENPORT — Beulah M. Stecker, 92, of Davenport died Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013, at Kahl Home, Davenport. Celebration of Life services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Weerts Funeral Home, Kimberly at Jersey Ridge, Davenport. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport. Memorials may be made to McCausland United Methodist Church.

Beulah was born in 1921 in Wild Rose, Wis., the oldest of four children of Arthur and Nelda Schultz. She graduated from Wautoma (Wis.) High School in 1940, and from Wisconsin Teachers College in Milwaukee. She married Robert Stecker in 1949 in Wautoma. He preceded her in death in 2005. Beulah had a career in teaching and later was actively involved with Stecker's Minuteman Press in Rock Island. She was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church, and most recently McCausland United Methodist Church. Of most importance to Beulah were her family and her faith.

Survivors include her sons, Frederick (Sandra) Stecker, Keller, Texas, Robert (Ann) Stecker, Rock Island, and Timothy (Kimberly) Stecker, Bettendorf; grandchildren, Benjamin Stecker, Michelle (Brian) Boyd, and their children, Michaela and Ariana, Chad (Bethany) Stecker, and their children, Joshua and Eliana, Gregory (Brittany) Stecker, and their children, Gavin and Gage, Jared (Kristin) Stecker, and their children, Lily and Mya, and Nick and Alissa Olson.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Boyd, Howard and Lyle Schultz.

Beulah's family wishes to give a special thank you to Jersey Ridge Place, Dr. Myra Daniel and Hospice Compassus for their outstanding care.
