Sarah Estelle Norris
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Sarah Estelle Trest Norris, 80 of Mount Olive who passed away on Monday, December 2, 2013 at the Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.
Reverend Dewitt Bain will officiate at the services with interment to follow at the New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Mount Olive. Billy M. King Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Pallbearers will be family members and friends.
Mrs. Norris, a Jasper County native, was a poultry grower for Sanderson Farms for over thirty years before her retirement. She was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther Edward Trest and Sarah Frances Ishee Trest; and her husband, Thomas Edward Norris.
Survivors include her two daughters, Ruby Purser, and her husband, Stanley and Rita Guillot, and her husband, Rockie, all of Mount Olive; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Jane Robin of Bay Springs, Doris Ishee of Stringer, and Patsy Dickard of Longview, Texas; three brothers, Prentiss Trest and Glenn Trest, both of Bay Springs, and Jimmy Trest of Pearl; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2013 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins.
