Sarah Sally Ethylin Gamel, age 83 of Kerrville, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2002, in Houston. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 A.M., Thursday, May 23, 2002, at Garden of Memories Cemetery with the Reverend Stockton Williams officiating. Mrs. Gamel is survived by a daughter, Margaret Moncure and husband John L. of Houston, three grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Bill L. Gamel, a daughter Elizabeth Jean Campbell and her parents Robert Gilmore Binnion and Addie Worsham Binnion. Mrs. Gamel was a devoted mother spending most of her time caring for her children and her husband. Sally, as she was known to her friends, enjoyed cooking, sewing and being a housewife. After her children were grown and on their own, she helped in her husband construction business in Las Vegas as the bookkeeper. After retiring from the lumber business some 30 years ago, Mr. and Mrs. Gamel moved to Kerrville. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
