Mae Beth Soden Taylor, 79, of San Antonio, TX, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2013.

She was born in Denhawken, TX on September 10, 1934 to the late Edmond and Virginia Roberson.

Mae Beth, also known as Pat, graduated from Stockdale High School and was the Watermelon Jubilee Queen in 1951.

Mae Beth was a beloved member of the community and an active member of Coker United Methodist Church serving as a devoted Sunday School teacher, and actively involved in Emmaus.

Mae Beth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

She is survived by her husband, Ret. Col. Stillman V. Taylor, Jr.; son, Scott Soden and wife, Elizabeth; daughters, Teri Nolin and Deanna Talerico and husband, Blas; four grandchildren, Roger Nolin, Ryan Nolin, Jennifer Soden, and Tyler Soden; step-children, Priscella Ervin and husband Glynn, and Pamela Wilkerson and husband Dean; four step-grandchildren, Taylor Wilkerson, Hannah Wilkerson, Laura Ervin, and Erik Ervin; and two step-great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Ervin and Weston Christopher; her brother, Jack Roberson; sisters, Marie Koch and Nan Sendelbach.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
