Donald “Don” D. Gulley, 59, of Paola, passed away Nov. 30, 2013. Visitation will be held 6:00 – 8:00 pm Wed., Dec. 4, 2013 at Bruce Funeral Home, 712 S. Webster, Spring Hill, KS (913) 592-2244. Cremation to follow.

Donnie was born May 1, 1954 in Kansas City, KS to Amos Delivan and Rachel Elaine Gulley. He grew up in Shawnee and graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School. Donnie later moved to Lenexa and to Paola in 1987. He married Sheilah Laine Davis on Nov. 7, 1974 in Shawnee. Don worked for over 25 years as a Union Pipefitter for Smith & Loveless in Lenexa. He enjoyed woodworking, even building his own barn. One of his favorite past times was playing his guitar and visiting with family and friends. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids. He will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ronnie. Don is survived by his wife, Sheilah, of the home; sons, Lonnie and wife Christine Gulley, Spring Hill, KS, Shawn Gulley and Kyle Gulley, both of Paola, KS; sisters, Veta Ebberts, LaCygne, KS, Lois Hodge, Shawnee, KS, Diane Gulley, Kansas City, KS; brother, Rusty Gulley, Shawnee, KS and six grandchildren.
