Born February 9, 1916, in Cooter, Missouri; daughter of Edwin Arthur and Celbra Cook Baldridge.
She was united in marriage to Edgar Ward December 30, 1933. She was a housewife and a dedicated member of the Powhatan Church of Christ, and served several countless years on the Powhatan City Counsel.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 66 years; several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include a brother, Alfred Baldridge; three sisters, Hazel Matthews, Ruby Ivy and Wilma Webb; many nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Bryan Funeral Home was in charge of burial held at the Powhatan Cemetery.
