Helen I. Copenhaver

YORK – Helen I. Copenhaver, 66, of York, died at 2:14 p.m. Sunday at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Ralph E. Copenhaver.
The service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the John W. Keffer Funeral Home Inc., 902 Mount Rose Ave., York. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg. Viewing will be 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Copenhaver was born April 5, 1928, in York New Salem. She was the daughter of the late Jacob and Emmaline (Keener) Beck.
She attended The Salvation Army and was a member of its League of Mercy.
Mrs. Copenhaver is survived by a son, Burnell Copenhaver of Littlestown; three daughters, Anna Mae Copenhaver and Nellie Krebs, both of York, and Helena Bechtel of Alaska; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Beck of Jacobus, and Frank Beck of Glen Rock; and two sisters, Elsie Illyes of Jacobus, and Clara Troup of York.
Officiating at the service will be Major Donald MacMurdo of The Salvation Army.
