She leaves to cherish her memories: her children, Jessie (Robert) Mackie of Aiken, SC; Theodore (Ellie) Carter of Boyds, Maryland; Erwin (Veronica) Carter of Lithonia, Georgia; Angela (Thomas) Simmons of Mauldin, SC; a brother, Lewis Patterson of Aiken, SC; seven granchildren Endia D. Nipper, Carlous D. Nipper, Lacey M. Simmons, Amoura C. Carter, Amanda T. Simmons, Adriann T. Simmons, Avery N. Carter, Myles J. Carter; three step-grandchildren, Alisha Hernandez, Camren Hernandez, Ciara Murphy; four great-grandchildren, Charlton Nipper-Grant, TyJon & Eniyah Parrish, and Jaylen Nipper, three step great-grandchildren, Brianna Hernandez, Kalani Hernandez, Hunter Hernandez. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 21st, 2012 (Viewing 10 AM until 11 AM) at Second Baptist Church with Officiant: Rev. Douglas Slaughter
Burial: Aiken Memorial Gardens. Family & Friends will receive visitors at the home, 426 Hampton Avenue on Sunday & Monday from the hours of 12:00p.m.-8:00p.m or call Jackson-Brooks Funeral Home beginning 3 pm Monday.
