He was one of the GOOD guys! Duane passed away at home on Nov 23, 2013, surrounded by the family he had loved and cared for during his life. It was a peaceful transition after a lengthy illness.
Duane will be missed by his family, friends and the many, many people he helped throughout his service with Catholic Charities during the past years. He will also be missed by his golf buddies.
Duane goes to join the "love of his life" Ursula.
He leaves behind brothers, Bruce and Rod Foster; sister Elaine Short; sons, Stephen and Darcy Foster; daughters, Sharleyne Jarvi and Ellen Foster; stepsons, Cliff and Rick Lester; son-in-law, Paul Jarvi; daughters-in-law, Sharon Lester and Rebecca Lester; grandchildren, Dara (Max) Wood, Nicole (Yonah) Barkhordari, Aaron Lester, Ari Lester and Nadav Lester; great grandchildren, Soren and Zoya Wood.
