Cataula, GA- David Keith Alford 52 passed away December 1, 2013 at his residence in Cataula, GA. David was born August 26, 1961 in Columbus, GA, to Dewey and Martha Gibson Alford.
Visitation will be Monday, December 2, 2013, 5:00-7:00 PM in the St. Elmo room of Striffler - Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd., Columbus, GA 31907. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2013 11:00 AM in Edgewood Hall at Striffler - Hamby, with interment at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon RD., Columbus, GA, with Rev. Matt Rustin officiating.
Along with his parents, Mr. Alford is survived by his brother Jeff Alford of Cataula, GA, and two nieces; Megan and Taylor Alford of Eastman, GA
David who was also known as Bubba by his close friends and family, graduated from Pine Forrest High School in Fayetteville, N C. He and his parents moved back to the Cataula area to be closer to relatives. He was formally a Machinist with Fairchild- Westinghouse, and was a member of New Harvest Church of Hamilton, GA.
