Funeral services for 5-year-old Yolanda Lynn Adams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Adams of Jamestown, were conducted Tuesday in Fresno.
The girl died of injuries suffered early Monday morning when the car her mother was driving ran off Highway 99 and overturned south of LeGrand Road in Merced County.
Also injured in the accident were the girl's mother, Mrs. Patricia Adams, who suffered minor injuries; her father, who suffered possible broken ribs and shoulder separation; and Veronica Davis, 3.
The Adamses reportedly were northbound from Fresno where they had visited Mrs. Adams' parents when the accident occurred.
Yolanda attended kindergarten last year at Jamestown school. She has an 8-year-old brother, Brent.
