Mr. Foley was a veteran of World War I and was a member of the Quindaro Post of the American Legion, the Knights of Columbus, Wyandotte Aerie of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks.
His wife, Grayce, died in 1944. He was survived by four daughters, Miss Jacqueline Foley, Miss Rosemary Foley, Miss Carol Foley and Miss Colleen Foley, all of the home; a sister, Mrs. Mary Ellen Weinand, of 3612 Indiana; and a brother, Edwin Charles Foley, of 226 North 18th in Kansas City, Kansas.
The Rosary recitation was held at the Joseph A. Butler's Sons Funeral Home. Funeral services were held on Wednesday morning from the Butler Chapel in Kansas City, Kansas, followed by the Funeral Mass at St. Peter's Cathedral. Interment was in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
