Mr. Nesbitt, the son of the late Charley and Mary Nesbitt, was born on February 28, 1925 in Port Deposit, MD. He was a member of State Line Baptist Church and a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He was employed as a carpenter for Amtrak.
He is survived by his son, Ellis Charles Nesbitt, Jr., of Quarryville, PA; a daughter, Patricia J. Reeves of North East, MD; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Pauline J. Nesbitt, who passed away in 1997 and a sister.
Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 10, 2001 at R. T. Foard Funeral Home, 111 S. Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD. Burial will be in Rosebank Cemetery, Rising Sun, MD with full military honors provided by the American Legion Post 194 Honor Guard.
