Obituary: Lu Cretie, 101, of WANETTE, OK passed away Tues, June 12 in Norman Regional Hospital. Services will be 2pm Thurs. in WANETTE Baptist Church, Rev. Gary Wood of Berry Road Baptist Church, Norman, OK will officiate. Under the direction of Roesch Funeral Home, Shawnee. Interment will be in WANETTE Cemetery. She was born Oct. 11, 1888 in Monterey, TN. She married Lewis W. Whitaker on Aug. 15, 1906 in Monterey. She was preceded in death by her husband, 3 sons and 1 daughter. She is survived by 1 son, Braskey; 5 daughters, Ollie Mae Statzer, Jewel Davis, Berneice Miller, Ruby Blevens and Betty Patty; 1 brother, Charles Henry; 2 sisters, Ollie Gage and Rena Porter; 17 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
