Billie June Wyatt, 81, died Friday, Nov. 29, 2013.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis with Ken Branum, chaplain of Accolade Hospice, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.

Mrs. Wyatt was born Oct. 3, 1932, in Hall County to Odie and Evie Sturdevant. She was raised in Memphis and was a member of the 1950 graduating class of Memphis High School. She moved to Borger in 1958, and married Al Wyatt on Oct. 2, 1964, in Borger. They moved to Lake Texhoma in 1969, from Borger. Mr. Wyatt passed away in 1989. Mrs. Wyatt was a nurse for many years. She started her nursing career at Odom's Hospital in Memphis and ended her career in Durant, Okla. at the age of 65. She moved to Canyon in 2012. Mrs. Wyatt loved the outdoors, especially fishing and gardening. She also enjoyed cooking for her family, knitting, reading and working crossword puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Leota Mathes.

Survivors include a daughter, Debbie Davis and husband Ben of Canyon; three sisters, Yvonne Koetting and husband Ed of Borger, Linda "Tooter" McCreary of Mead, Okla., and Susan Maxwell and husband Mike also of Canyon; a brother, Jimmy Sturdevant and wife Linda of Argyle; two grandchildren, Mandi Winn and husband Shad and Landry Davis, both of Amarillo; two great-grandsons, Dalton Winn, and Peyton Winn both of Amarillo; and many nieces and nephews, who she loved very much.

The family suggest memorials be to a favorite charity.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
