Patricia Gayle Dogan Parnell, age 79, of Warren, Arkansas died Friday November 29, at Greenbrier Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Greenbrier, Arkansas. Born August 31, 1934 in Scobey, Mississippi to the late William A. Dogan and Billie Scarborough Dogan Chatham.

She was a retired school teacher with the Warren School district, a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the widow of the late Perry William Parnell who preceded her in death in 1992. They were united in marriage August 29, 1954.

Survivors include two sons Pete Parnell of Lonoke County, Arkansas and Dr. Philip (JoAnn) Parnell of Wahpeton, North Dakota. Other survivors include three grandchildren, all of North Dakota: Jonathan Parnell, Sara Parnell and Emily Gayle Parnell. She is also survived by an uncle, Duke Scarborough of Glendora, California.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday December 7, at Oakland Cemetery in Warren. Arrangements by Frazer's Funeral Home.
