Mrs. Britha (Betsey) Solomonson-Johnson, 91, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 30, 1962. She was born in Lee County March 26, 1871, the daughter of Lars and Ragnilda Solomonson. She was baptized and confirmed In the First Lutheran Church of Lee. On March 29, 1892 she was united in marriage to John H. Johnson. Surviving are six children, Mrs. Mylo (Lily) . Kettleson, Creston; Mrs. Alvina Sanderson, Malta; Mrs. Rollin (Lulu) Morsch and Mrs. Adelbert (Mabel) Rissman, both of Hinckley; Harley Johnson and Mrs. Blanche. Jacobson, both of Lee; 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews. Her husband and son Vernon, two grandchildren, three sisters and three brothers pre ceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. from the Thorsen Funeral Home, Shabbona and at 2 p.m. in the First Lutheran Church, Lee. Rev. Harry Stout- land will officiate. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery, southwest of Lee. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m., Thursday and until time of services.
