Born in Pelzer, SC, she was a daughter of the late Arvle Calvin King and Emma Lena Evans King. She retired from Reigel Textile. Frances was a non-denomination Christian for many years and her heart belonged to the nation of Israel and to God's chosen people.
She was formerly married to the late William M. Allison of Ware Shoals and was preceded in death by; two brothers, A. C. King, Jr. and Furman L. King; by a sister, Margaret King Bolden; and her beloved cat, Cassie.
Surviving are three daughters, June Allison Roark of Ware Shoals, Linda Allison Peters and Donna Allison Rachels (Larry), both of Williamston; three sons, W. Ronnie Allison (Pam) of Piedmont, Steven M. Allison (Ann) of Ware Shoals and Stanley M. Allison of Birmingham; two sisters, Gloria Garner (Ray) of Greenville and Shirley King of Washington, DC; twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family is at the home of her daughter, June Roark, 14 Green Acers Circle, Ware Shoals, SC.
