Well Known Woman Survived by Husband; 5 Children
EDINBURG, May 14. - Funeral services for Mrs. Luella Kyle, age 63, wife of Nathan Kyle, who died Wednesday at her home near Edinburg following a brief illness from heart trouble, will be held from the Edinburg M. E. Church Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial in Rest Haven cemetery.
Mrs. Kyle was a daughter of Alfred and Margaret Carvin, and lived her entire life in Bartholomew county near Edinburg and died within a mile of her birthplace.
Early in life she married Daniel Chambers and to this union three children were born: Arvel Chambers of Clifford; Mrs. Sylvan Lefever of Edinburg, and Mrs. Otie Winn of Rochester, Ind.
After the death of her husband, Jan. 29, 1888, she and her three children made their home with her parents. Sept. 13, 1891 she was united in marriage to Nathan Kyle, a prominent farmer near Edinburg, and to that union two children were born, Ralph and Paul.
Those surviving are the husband, five children, thirteen grandchildren, one great grand child, one sister, living at South Bend, and one brother of Mt. Auburn.
The deceased found her greatest happiness in the home, where she was a loving mother and a devoted wife.
