Samuel Terry Davidson, 63, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, November 25, 2013 at his home.
He was born February 17, 1950 in Gideon, Mo. to Rex Dowdy and Marjorie Cordelia Blaylock Davidson.
He and Pamela Ann Scola were married Saturday, November 11, 1989 at St. Louis, Mo.
Terry was a 1968 graduate of Charleston High School and 1978 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University where he was a member of the Vet Corps.
He was in the U.S. Navy from 1969 to 1973 and served in the Vietnam War.
Terry worked as a bonds claim representative for Travelers Insurance.
He was an avid golfer, weightlifter, and boater and was a single engine pilot. He also coached youth sports in Jackson.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela Davidson of Cape Girardeau; sons, Brian Kyle Davidson and Eric Leigh Davidson of Cape Girardeau; brother, Rex Dowdy Davidson, Jr. of Bertrand, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Christie Janell Davidson in August 2013.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau with the Rev. Daniel Hale officiating.
Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau. Funeral procession will be escorted by American Legion Riders Chapter 369. Full military honors will be provided by Missouri Honors Team.
Memorial contributions may be given to Wounded Warrior Project.
