HAZEL I. ADDISON
Hazel Irene Ball Addison, 60, of Richlands, died Aug. 8 in a Richlands hospital following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Tazewell County and was a daughter of the late Frank and Rosie Vance Ball, both Tazewell County natives.
She was a lifelong resident of the Richlands area and was a member of the Richlands First Assembly of God Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Sam Addison; one sister, Mary Griffith; and one brother, Bud Ball.
Survivors: daughters, Linda Miller of Baltimore, MD, Brenda Axtell of Lennon, MI; son, Ronnie Miller of Kalamazoo, MI, Melvin Miller of West Virginia; sisters, Lorraine Rutter of Richlands, Virginia Hardy of Gentryville, IN; brothers. George Ball and Ernest Ronnie Ball, both of Richlands; and eight grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted today at 2 p.m. at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands with Rev James Dye, Rev. Buddy Herald, and Sister Anna Broyles officiating.
Interment will follow in the Hankins Cemetery in Richlands.
