Bozeman, Mont.--Colonel Oliver P. Chisholm, one of Montana's best known men, a miner, a lawyer and veteran of the civil war, died here on the morning of the 26th after an extended illness.
Colonel Chisholm was born in Hazel Green, Grant County, Wisconsin, and was just past 69 years of age at his death. He was the son of Robert B. Chisholm, the owner of the famous Emma mine in Utah. He is survived by four of his seven children, Charles B., Robert B., Oliver Perry, and Sarah Alice Chisholm.
