SUCCUMBS TODAY
Wesley Stowers, retired farmer of the Terhune community, passed away early this morning at his home on Sheridan R. 1 in Boone County.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Hinshaw Funeral Home with Rev. William Thomas of the Terhune E.U.B. Church officiating. Burial will occur at Crown View cemetery, Sheridan. The deceased was born Nov. 12, 1890 the son of David J. and Rosa Dickerson Stowers and he had lived all his life near Terhune where he farmed until his retirement. He had been in poor health for the past two years. On Dec. 18, 1912 he was married to Othella Cox and she survives. Mr. Stowers was a member of the Terhune E.U.B. church and of the Pride of Boone Odd fellows Lodge.
Surviving with the widow are one brother, Milford, of Kirklin, R. R. two sisters, Mrs. Mae Holtzclaw, Lebanon; and Miss Rebecca Stowers of Sheridan R.R.
