Bonnie and Troy lived in California for thirty five years before retiring back to Ava. During their time in California she worked several jobs but enjoyed working in a lawn and garden business in the greenhouse. Bonnie loved pretty flowers and could identify many plants by name. Life was not always easy for Bonnie, but she grew up knowing the value of hard work. She was a dedicated mother who loved her family. She was a great cook, keeping two growing boys well fed. She was generous with her family and friends, she had a giving spirit, she would give you the "shirt off her back". She liked spending time with her friends at the General Baptist Church. She was a good yodeler. In her later years she was devoted to her dog, Rattler, and spending time taking walks with him. She liked to go out to eat, especially with her special niece Kathryn Coats.
She was preceded in death by parents, four brothers, and two sisters.
She will be deeply missed by her husband Troy; two sons and their wives, Billy Michael (Mike) and Marty Frye of Ava, and Bruce Wayne and Cindy Frye of California; she also is survived by three grandchildren; Bob. Matthew and Karen. She also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends and her dog Rattler.
