Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Mae Bowen, age 73 of Tullahoma will be conducted at 1:00pm, Tuesday, December 3 at the Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro Horace Lee Jacobs and Bro. Foy Rigney officiating. Burial will follow in the Blanton Cemetery. Visitation with the Bowen family will be from 5pm until 9pm, Monday at Manchester Funeral Home. Mrs. Bowen passed away Saturday at Harton Hospital in Tullahoma.
Mrs. Bowen was born in Franklin County, Tennessee the daughter of the late John Walter Partin and Nettie Osborne Partin. She was a cook for 32 years at the Hickerson Station Elementary School and was a member of the Mt. View Church of Christ. Mrs. Bowen loved cooking, fishing, gardening, tending to her flowers and watching the hummingbirds. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Frank and James Partin, and by 3 sisters, Rosie Sue Stewart, Maria Partin and Mildred Stewart. Mrs. Bowen is survived by:
