Eric Leo Henderson 9/26/67 - 3/7/07
Eric's life was shortened by a tragic accident March 7, 2007. He was born September 26, 1967 to Leo and Ranee Henderson at Fort Buckner, Okinawa, Japan. He graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1986 and earned his bachelors degree from the University of Utah in 1992. He was the General Manager for Coast Crane of Utah. In 2002 he married the love of his life, Raquel. Since childhood Eric had a passion for flying, and felt such peace while he was in the air. He earned his private pilot license and soloed in 2000 and has since become a Certified Flight Instructor. He tirelessly worked on required certifications in hopes of becoming an airline pilot. He enjoyed being with his family and planning vacations and outings for them. They will all miss the annual Lake Powell adventure. Eric was a loving husband, father, son and brother. All who knew and loved him will miss his sense of humor, charisma and adventurous nature. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Raquel; children, Brittany, Brandon, McKenna and Paige; sisters and brothers, Rochelle (Tommy) Randazzo, Aaron (Martha) Henderson, Jessica (Czar) Johnson, Marissa (Troy) Simpson, Tim Henderson and Leesa Henderson; parents, Leo and Joyce Henderson, Ranee Henderson. My sweet, sweet husband and best friend, I will miss every inch of you forever. You carried such wisdom, confidence and strength in every aspect of your life. I promise to pass those awesome qualities on to our baby girl. You will always be a part of my heart, mind and soul. Q. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the LDS Chapel at 8055 South 1106 East, Sandy, Utah. Friends may call Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Midvale, Monday 6-8 p.m. or Tuesday at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens. A trust has been established for the children and donations can be made at any Key Bank.
