When Connie was school age, she attended a special class in Franklin taught by Mrs. Evelyn Pangle and other teachers. Connie attended Murdock School in Butner, NC for four years. Macon Citizens for the Handicapped was a great part of her life for many years. She enjoyed all the activities there as she made bells and rabbit foot key chains.
